Join me on this journey as we unlock the secrets of love, learn why it can be challenging, and discover how we can love more like God does.
Now let’s take a look at a few questions that might have some mind-boggling answers. But before we dive into those questions, let me remind you to please subscribe to The Lover’s Mindset and let us know what you think about this episode. We greatly appreciate it. This will help us bring more truths about God’s Love from a greater understanding. Thank you. Now let’s roll with it.
1: What is Love About?
Let’s start by addressing the fundamental question: What is love all about? Love is a complex, multifaceted emotion that encompasses care, affection, compassion, and understanding. It’s the force that binds us to one another, and it’s an integral part of our lives.
But here’s the catch: God’s love is unconditional and limitless, something that we, as humans, often struggle to comprehend and replicate. Our love is often conditional, influenced by our experiences, expectations, our flaws, and mostly our egos.
2: Why Am I Hurting If God Loves Me?
It’s not uncommon for people to wonder and ask, “If God loves me, why am I hurting?” Life can be challenging, and filled with pain, loss, and suffering. However, understanding God’s love doesn’t mean we won’t face difficulties. God’s love is not a shield from life’s trials, but rather a source of strength to help us navigate them.
In times of suffering, it’s important to remember that God’s love is unwavering, even when we can’t see or feel it. Our pain can be an opportunity for growth, resilience, and a deeper connection with God’s love. That painful situation is still part of love.
Because of that painful situation coupled with your guidance system, your feelings and emotions are the signals to let you know that you are not in a loving state of mind. Pay attention to the guidance system that God gave us all. It will never steer us in the wrong direction.
Those feelings and emotions are always connected to the Devine. So, to answer the question, “Why I am Hurting if God Loves Me” the answer is You are hurting because you have allowed your ego to take over. Not only that, but you have chosen to experience the situation based on your perspective as hurt. Take a step back change your perspective about the situation and ask yourself,
- Why am I experiencing this as hurtful?
- What am I to learn from this situation?
- What am I thinking that causes me to generate those hurtful feelings?
- Then ask yourself, How can I change my perspective and thoughts about the situation?
Allow yourself to come up with the answers. Just by taking the time to do this, You have already stopped listening to the ego and you will notice you will already become calmer.
3: Why Can’t We Love Like God Does?
So, why can’t we love like God does? The answer lies in our human limitations. We are imperfect beings with our own biases, insecurities, and egos. While God’s love is boundless and selfless, ours is often tainted by conditions, expectations, and even fear.
Learning to love like God means transcending our limitations. It requires self-awareness, empathy, forgiveness, and a willingness to let go of judgments and prejudices. It’s a lifelong journey of growth and self-discovery.
4: Why is Love Difficult?
Love can be a challenging endeavor. It’s difficult because it demands vulnerability and the courage to open our hearts fully. It requires us to let go of control and embrace the unpredictability of emotions. Love often involves sacrifice and selflessness, which can be intimidating.
But, here’s the beautiful part: the difficulties we encounter in love can lead to transformation and profound personal growth. Love challenges us to become better versions of ourselves. But know that love is not difficult but the conditions and expectations placed on love in conjunction with the ego is what makes love seem difficult.
5: Embracing God’s Love
In conclusion, dear listeners, while understanding and embodying God’s love may be a lifelong pursuit, it’s a journey well worth taking. When we truly grasp the depth of God’s love, we find solace in times of trouble, strength in moments of weakness, and a sense of purpose in our lives.
Remember, it’s okay to struggle with love, for it’s through our struggles that we learn, grow, and become more capable of love’s true essence. Let’s strive to love one another, just as God loves us – unconditionally and with an open heart.
